Area Assembly Meeting

The next Assembly on will be held at St. Joseph of Arimithea Episcopal Church, 2127 Saw Mill River Road (Route 9A), White Plains, NY 10607 (Between Elmsford and Ardsley) For directions call church at 914-592-7163.
This will be the first of the next 5 Assemblies that will be centralized,
meeting in the same place in Westchester.
We, District 24, will be cohosting with District 27 (Putnam County)... Bill G. the DR is going to confirm that with his GR's and get back to the chairperson this week. The Area will pay the rent for the location and is providing $200. towards food; with our cap of $250, and the same from District 27...looks like we can provide a warm welcome to the GR's from across our Area. There is lots on the agenda... proposed 09 budget, proposed 09 dates, discussion of revised Discovery Guidelines, voting on revised SNYA Guidelines, and more...
It is proposed that the Assemblies will take place at St. Joseph's for a trial period of one year... each Assembly will be hosted by different Districts. At the October Assembly, Michelle R. the chairperson of the Assembly, will propose the dates of the Assemblies which will be Saturday's in order for us to have the full conference space at St. Joseph's.

Please, please, please... ask your group members to support this October Assembly by volunteering their time in either, setting up, cleaning up, making coffee or providing a warm Westchester welcome to our Area. Will you please get a list of volunteers from your groups who are willing to help with this service? I will be in touch with each of you. Your job is to come to the Assembly, listen and exercise your ability to vote at the Assembly (and if you want to provide some service before and after... that is most welcome too!)
